Lose your Past Lose your Way?

One of my favorite ways to be in present life, to get sense of whole is through stories. Stories of future, and stories of past, histories.
Not the truncated nonsense that is forced upon students  and adults through mainstream "educational programs"
But, rich, deep, perhaps scary for some, stories in the moment. Listening to those near us. And even more knowing you ARE the story, NOW, and it is OK to be personal about it. Also, science fiction stories of  the future.  And non-mainstream ancient, ancient history of what is named the past.
I do not perceive that where we are living now, has always had the same exact landmasses and water bodies. There is so much more ...

Interesting to watch, be alive, to see and experience what is unfolding as individual Christians,  nominally engaged christian and jewish people of corporations take up residence in the hemisphere that includes India and China. And at  the same time to experience the changes around myself as the cultures, religions and people of India, China are adopted in USA, North, Central and South America.

The Sun's magnetic poles will remain as they are now, with the north magnetic pole pointing through the Sun's southern hemisphere, until the year 2012 when they will reverse again. 

This transition happens, as far as we know, at the peak of every 11-year sunspot cycle -- like clockwork.

Earth's magnetic field also flips, but with less regularity. Consecutive reversals are spaced 5 thousand years to 50 million years apart. The last reversal happened 740,000 years ago.
Some researchers think our planet is overdue for another one, but nobody knows exactly when the next reversal might occur.

I wish my grandpa could see. Perhaps he can.

He knew this in 1930's at least!
