Complete Nervous System of a Person

Ouch, but quite interesting.
There are eons of knowledge tucked away about life. This is simply from the 1920's a.d./ c.e.

From the web:
This remarkable work of art isn't a painting. It's a dissection of the entire human nervous system, removed from the body and left intact. The dissection was done by two students at the Kirksville Osteopathic College in the 1920's.

Not  so fond of the word hu-man...
Wiki Etymology of man:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_(word)

It is derived from a Proto-Indo-European root *man- (see Sanskrit/Avestan manu-, Slavic mǫž "man, male").[1] In Hindu mythology,Manu is a title accorded the progenitor of humankind. The Slavic forms (Russian muzh "man, male" etc.) are derived from a suffixed stem *man-gyo-. *Manus in Indo-European mythology was the first man, see Mannus, Manu (Hinduism)

In Old English the words wer and wīf (and wīfmann) were used to refer to "a man" and "a woman" respectively, while mann had the primary meaning of "adult male human" but could also be used for gender neutral purposes (as is the case with modern German man, corresponding to the pronoun in the English utterance "one does what one must").

HINDU TEMPLES - WHAT HAPPENED? Volume 1

I know that many USA, American people especially since the 1950's, have spent time visiting with their gurus and traveling to absorb the culture of India.

Since I have yet to visit the vast continent where India is located, I must do my studies, and comparisons of cultures via book and internet for now. The myriad layers, eons of changes and viewpoints are yet to be touched, lets see what this one states.
I am saving this link here to review the volume:

He drinks 2 liters of juice from green vegetables each morning

Drinking green juices made of fresh green vegetables and vegetation, including wheat grass and sprouts, especially when made with very fresh, healthy vegetables always make me feel somehow fresher, lighter, and give a boost of energy after certain initial cleanse period, if I have been away from them for awhile.
It is very important I get back to this.

On another point, I have been considering for some years, other stories, tangential to the pro-vegetarian and "green" movement.
It is known that the poorer persons in some cultures, during times of hardship, took to eating green grass.
Several sources have mentioned that this happened in Ireland. Here is one reference:
The Irish in the countryside began to live off wild blackberries, ate nettles, turnips, old cabbage leaves, edible seaweed, shellfish, roots, roadside weeds and even green grass.

Sarah Brightman to Sing in Space -

Though I know much is being done in Space, this is amazing and remarkable news to me today.

Sarah Brightman will sing in space - Cosmic Log

Following is quote from Cosmic Log above:
"Brightman probably won't be able to catch a ride to the station until 2015, when the space station's partners are planning to have astronauts begin a yearlong stay in orbit. Because of the logistics for that extended mission, there'll be an extra seat on an outbound and inbound Soyuz that a paying passenger can fill.

Like the eight other private space tours that have gone to the station over the past 11 years, Brightman's 10-day space odyssey is being arranged through Virginia-based Space Adventures. (One space traveler, software billionaire Charles Simonyi, has gone twice — which would make Brightman the eighth paying guest to visit the space station. She's the second woman to do so, after Iranian-American entrepreneur Anousheh Ansari.)"

Gourmet Wild Plant Foods - Durango, Colorado, USA

In recent years, the wild foods trend is coming alive again with a new generation. This video below shows what looks to be a pleasant place to visit in Durango, Colorado, USA. One more of the many little "pieces of kingdom of heaven on earth" I shall like to visit!

In almost all climates, it is wise action, for ones good health and yoga practice, to include times outdoors. Walking and hiking, noting ones surroundings, is good medicine.

Best to have lively, nourishing, sound, serene, foods, environments and company as you aims to master yourself, and attend to your own souls calling. Choose to be in the company and energy fields of wholesome, courageous, kind, generous environments and peers who will lift you up.
A reminder to myself here

I Have been interested finding and utilizing wild plants for their healthful offerings, for many years. This was not so common an art in most of the places I lived throughout USA.

Early on in life, I studied and did my own drawing of plantains and other such easily findable and helpful plants. (I'll have to see if I saved any.)
In the late 1980's, early 1990's, I found Wildman Steve Brill and took edible nature walks in New York City, USA! You can still take walks and learn with him! http://www.wildmanstevebrill.com/

Dwarka, India - 12,000 Year Old City Found - video

Our world is quite much more than mainstream education ever offers, even at many of the University levels. To me, the richer, generally untold, and various views of the past are interesting, and give one a fuller sense of what it means to be alive. I appreciate so much worlds past "mythology" as well as the  future to come.
Now, I am aware of the syncretizing of religions and cultures that is is being aimed for world-wide, so history is having her ongoing
re-write...

" Now archaeologists and Indian Navy divers are investigating underwater ruins at Dwarka on India's western coast, said to be Krishna's city. The new efforts, it is hoped, will settle the debate currently raging over the age and authenticity of the site near the Samudranaraya temple. Divers have collected blocks and samples which will now be dated. Traditional Hindu scholars referencing ancient Hindu scriptures believe the location to be very ancient, originally built many thousands of years ago. Such notions are, of course, vehemently rejected by establishment scientists though they are willing to concede that there is evidence indicating an age of as much as 3500 years.

Of course the date when the city was destroyed would be long after the date of its inception, so a definitive maximum date has not been established. The new study is expected to resolve some of the issues. Archaeologists will now use the carbon dating technique to determine the exact age of the ruins."
